Breaking: The Lebron James Video

Wednesday, July 22, 2009

Man, color me disappointed after viewing this one, and why Lebron allegedly had this clip confiscated is beyond me. The dunk is pretty good, but nothing really to write home about. If Lebron had just laughed it off, and wished the kid well, it wouldn't have been an issue. Here's the clip if you haven't seen it yet....

Update: Here's a much better angle via Barstool Sports....

WTF - you can't tell who any of them are, I watched the beginning 5 times and I still can't tell what's even happening. This is worse than the Zapruder film.

He wasn't even trying to contest the basket!

Now that I've seen the video, this may be the least newsworthy sports story of the year.

whether he was contesting it or not, he's on the wrong end of a poster

word verification: bushera (bush era?, you mean like in covering things up?)

It shouldn't be a story, but because LeBron and his handlers decieded to cover it up, this became a bigger story than it needed to be. LeBron has lost a little respect in my opinion for trying to cover this thing up.

The fact that it's just ordinary makes the cover up worse and makes him, and Nike, look worse (in my opinion, anyway). I wouldn't be shocked if this is all part of some larger ad ploy.

Why the hell are they wearing the same colors?

I saw this footage on ESPN. According to them, why would a guy in black shirt and black shorts dunk on another guy wearing the same colors when there are clearly players on the court who are wearing different colors.

And there is no way to tell if the guy being dunked on is LeBron. Its not possible to see anybody's face clearly.

While i agree that one should not make a big deal about this video and that confiscating the video was not smart, this doesn't serve as THE conclusive evidence.

Aw man that wasn't even his guy - he turned around and tried to help, he didn't have time to get over.

I really think this is misunderstood. Why would LeBron or Nike care about that lame ass dunk. LeBron was caught off guard trying to "help". LeBron has been doing these camps for years and we've NEVER seen footage of pick-up games. You can't find any, maybe the policy was real. Who knows, who cares.
