Impostor Dupes Reporter For FSN Kansas City

Wednesday, May 06, 2009

You may have seen Guy Fieri on the Food Network, or those really annoying TGI Fridays commercials, but you certainly didn't see him during the Royals game the other night. FSN's Joel Goldberg thought he had an exclusive interview with the chef, but according to the KC Star, and the man himself, it was an impostor....

"So check this out, some cat is playin me in KC. Crazy, just for da record, I am home and was not in KC. Thanks to those keepin an eye out."- Guy Fieri on Twitter

In all honesty, it really looks exactly like him. There's also nothing more fun than knowing someone who looks exactly like someone else. I had a friend that was a dead ringer for Uncle Kracker, and we used to get hammered drunk and pretend we were security for him in bars and clubs. Sure duping people is wrong, but it sure is fun!

It does look exactly like him, but being the Food Network connoisseur that I am, it should have been suspicious when he was giving very short answers, the real Guy probably would've talked this guy's face off.

Thanks for the post yesterday by the way.

Guy was not at the game because the Royals do not play in "Flavor Town".

It looks just like him, but doesn't sound like him a little bit.

It doesn't look anything like him. What, because he has bleached spiked hair he must be Guy, that old fart punk wannabe from food network??? Don't assume people look like someone because they share one distinct feature. See Matt Vasgersian and his Donovan McNabb comment... They were both black so....

KC Royals should be always competitive enough to keep pace with the others. I really like them; they’ve always been my favourite teams in MLB. Just read about them here:
