Bert Blyleven Has Had Enough Of Your Curt Schilling Talk

Wednesday, March 25, 2009

I personally think that both Bert Blyleven and Curt Schilling should be in the Hall of Fame, but unfortunately that's probably not going to happen for one of them. Well that person is Blyleven, and the current Twins announcer has something to say about it....

Again, I don't think Jack Morris pitched enough to qualify, but both Bly and Schil definitely deserve to be in. It must be gut wrenching to be on the cusp like that and never get in.

It is awful that some people like Bert are not accepted because many people say "He pitched too long and he was never great, he was just good over a long time"

The guy won 287 Games and is not only a better pitcher than many HOFers but is also a great ambassador for baseball.

PUT IN BERT!

He sure does have quite an opinion for a guy that said that he doesn't want to talk about it.

I'm as mad as hell and I'm not gonna take it any longer! Bert definitely deserves to be in before Schilling, unfortunately his latest rash of self promotion isn't going to help too much, which is too bad, he had the most dominating curveball the MLB has seen.

"Again, I don't think Jack Morris pitched enough to qualify, but both Bly and Schil definitely deserve to be in." Well how does that make any sense?? Jack Morris: 527 starts, 254-186. Schilling: 436 starts, 216-146. Which one didn't pitch enough again?

hahaha Schilling should be in the hall of fame.

hahahahahaha

Thanks for the laugh, AA. No way does he deserve it. Hell, if we can't get Blyleven in (and he was 10x the pitcher Schilling was), then there's no room at all for Schilling.

What? Because he threw with a recently surgically repaired foot? Outside of Boston, who gives a shit? Honestly? The guy is the walking epitome of the term 'overrated'.
