Get Your Oklahoma 2009 National Champions Commemorative Football!

Friday, January 09, 2009

In case you weren't watching last night, or haven't looked at the papers this morning, Oklahoma lost the National Championship to Florida. Well according to emailer DY, Fox Sports Southwest just aired this commercial....

I don't know about you, but one day I'm going to start collecting merchandise that says the losing team of Championships actually won. How cool would it be to walk into a bar with a "1999 Atlanta Falcons Super Bowl Champions" t-shirt on? Pretty damn cool, I tell you!

Yeah, they'll love it in a poor Central American country.

I have a prized pennant from 1985 that heralds the St. Louis Cardinals as world champions, along with photo images of the team. Seeing as the Series was given to Kansas City by umpire Don Denkinger, this pennant gives me bittersweet satisfaction.

That'll go good with the 19-0 New England Patriots merchandise.

And included in this set is the press conference video of Dominique Frank moronically saying that Tim Tebow would be the 4th best quarterback in the Big 12.

Wait! That's not at all! If you order now, you can recieve the commemorative AA screen shot of the OU band girl crying tears of happiness after her Oklahoma Sooners won the National Championship. Wait, what?.......

Someplace in Rwanda, a child wears a Tampa Bay Rays 2008 World Seies Champion Y-Shirt and cap because they are awesome.

Personally, I laugh.

We've had convos among my friends about how there are foreign countries that are like Bizarro Sports Worlds, where the Buffalo Bills are the greatest team ever.
