Poe's Favorites Visit The Cattle Ropers

This here is Tony Romo, and he feels like partying to celebrate the last game at Texas Stadium before the Cowboys move into their new $1 billion monstrosity in Arlington next season. Ray Lewis and the Ravens defense would like to make that a depressing ceremony, in a game that most of us aren't actually able to watch unless we head to the sports bar.

Game: Baltimore Ravens (9-5) vs. Dallas Cowboys (9-5)
Location: Texas Stadium, Irving, TX
Start Time: 8:15 PM
Network and Announcers: NFL Network - Bob Papa, Cris Collinsworth
Favorites: Cowboys (-4)
S2N's Pick: Baltimore to win outright. This will be low-scoring, and the Ravens are engineered to pick off Romo when he makes mistakes. The Dallas D will be after Joe Flacco early and often, but they'll be running the ball a lot more to begin with.

This'll be my last post for the day, as I've got a holiday party to head to. See you all tomorrow for the full NFL Sunday.

No Collinsworth. Instead it is Faulk and Sanders with Poppa.

Sanders is in the booth? Maybe it's a good thing the game isn't available here in Charlotte.

Walnuts

Not missing much, the only positive sports news of the day for me are the Penguins losing 5-2 to Toronto. No real interest in Cowgirls-Ravens.

Too bad the NFL Network didn't have the foresight to put Kara Henderson or Alex Flanagan on the sidelines (do they still work there?). We all know that some Cowboy alumni will be there, and we might've had a moment like the one five years ago tonight.

RJBO

Dont forget Lindsay Soto or Michelle Beisner, yea the other two still work there.

Flanagan hosts Total Access sometimes.

And really, who wants to see Adam Schefter on their television screens? Adam Schefter's parents probably don't even want to see him.

Can we please put a ban on former players as announcers talking about "what goes on at the bottom of the pile" on evvvvvery fumble scrum? Seriously, we get it, there's stuff that goes down there...

Ok, I'm now proceeding to "Chillax". This sounds and feels awesome. I took a vicoden, James Craven. This is great.

Am I crazy, or was the Faulk/Sanders/Papa booth wildly entertaining? Faulk provided insight, Sanders provided comic releif, and Papa did just enough. I really enjoyed it.

Scumdog -- You ARE crazy. Faulk and Sanders NEVER shut up and Papa is a dime-a-dozen guy you could find on any street corner. Sober up, dog.

Yeah... I think you might be nuts scumdog. You realize we had to listen to all three people talk about Deion Sanders's feet for 15 minutes, right?

Alright, at least I know now. Come to think of it, when Deion said, "I know a little bit about foot injuries," was one of my favorite lines. There must be something wrong with me.
