The Cowboys Seem Happy, But Hate Ed Werder Now

Sunday, December 14, 2008

On Saturday, S2N posted a video of a Cowboys fan who was extremely pissed at Ed Werder and letting him know it in person. Well apparently that guy wasn't the only person upset with Werder. You can add T.O. to that list as well.

NBC got Romo, Witten and Owens together after their win over the Giants tonight, and while they all seemed to be enjoying each other's company, Terrell had this to say to the ESPN reporter....

I'm so sick of this story that I almost didn't pull the video, but it's just too funny that the Cowboys now hate the one reporter ESPN keeps at Valley Ranch. The deal that Ed and the Cowboys have, has always been shady, and I hope this time Werder made it so awkward that the Cowboys will deny him access. And in turn we'll have less Cowboys coverage!

I mean, it's not going to happen, but a boy can dream right?

Cowboys Fan Heckles Ed Werder (Awful Announcing)

The truth is probably somewhere in the middle of Werder's report and TO's flat-out "I love Jason Witten" denial.

Nice reaction and transition by Andrea upon TO's mentionning of Werder.

How do we go from Plaxico shooting himself and Pierce trying to cover it up to T.O. allege drama?

Also, was it just me or why during the game, ESPN ticker had a "thrown to" category. Have they ever done that to any other team in football?

"I don't know where none of this stuff came from." TO
He is a genius and a liar.

"I think it was a lack of unprofessionalism."

Did I hear that right?

I waited to see how ESPN would handle this. In typical fashion, they ducked the issue to protect "their own". last week they had entire shows revolving around every word T.O said. But now all we get are quick clips not involving T.O mentioning Ed Werder. NFL Network had the guts to discuss this. Note to ESPN - report the news, don't create the news!

The Cowboys need thicker skin. Even in Romo's press conference afterwards, he critiqued the media for making something out of nothing. I seriously doubt that Werder created this controversy. Why should I believe TO? Petulant a-hole.
