Texas Tech Stuns Texas

Sunday, November 02, 2008

The game really should have never been this close, but a great job by Colt McCoy to give Texas their first lead of the game with about 1:30 left, gave us one of the best finishes of the year. Here's your ending....

Those dumbass Raider fans tried to ruin it there at the end by giving Texas a kickoff from the seven yard line, but alas....it just wasn't meant to be for the Longhorns this year. I really hope Texas Tech makes a huge jump in the polls because the thought of an Alabama-Penn State Championship makes me sick to my stomach. Go Raiders!

Dumbass raider fans? They thought the game was over...

I'm sure you would have stayed in your seat though...yeah right.

They are dumb asses. They stormed the field twice with one second left on the clock. I understand maybe getting it wrong the first time, but storming the field after the review shows complete ignorance.

I agree with you, AA. I'm hoping that Michigan State can upset PSU, but I'm not holding too much hope out. Their only real quality win has been against Ohio State (Illinois was ranked when they played, but that seemed to be more based on momentum from last year than from the quality of the team this year).

If TTU wins out, they HAVE to be in the NC title game, even if PSU and Alabama are still undefeated as well.

What was #12 for Texas doing? He just strolled right past the play like he just conceded the touchdown. Very passive play by the safety.

I was rooting for Tech the whole way, but after those moronic fans who can't READ A CLOCK, I wanted Texas to have the miracle play to win it on the kickoff return.

Yeah, forget that Penn State absolutely dominated Oregon State, 45-14. Oregon State, that sounds familiar. Who did they beat this year? Oh that's right, USC. And they control their own destiny in the Pac-10 if they win out? Oh, yeah, that too.

AA is it the Penn St half that makes you sick cuz I don't see how you can have somthing aganist an SEC team making it to the title game if they run the table

Maybe I'm crazy, but why didn't the DB just push Crabtree out of bounds? They already blocked a field goal so they could've done it again.

And Musberger's call sounded a bit slurry to me, this had Sean McDonough gold written all over it.

Tech is lucky Crabtree got in end zone, before clock ran out, TExas DB's were closer to sideline than Crabtree was. Tech also started playing prevent D in 4th qtr

Also, at the end, on the lateral fest, when Tech stole the ball, Musburger said that it was "intercepted!"

It was a lateral, not a pass.
