NFL Broadcast Maps And Announcing Schedule For Week Seven

Wednesday, October 15, 2008

Before Nantz and Simms take a trip across the pond for the game in London, they get a pretty interesting matchup in the Colts and Packers. How that's not a Sunday or Monday nighter is beyond me, but I guess you'd have certainly considered the Broncos and Patriots a better draw in the preseason. As far as FOX goes, Aikman gets sent to San Fran with Dick Stockton as previously reported, and perhaps the best matchup of the weekend (NO-CAR) gets the "D" team. CBS has always done a better job than FOX of sending its best teams to the best games, and I think that's pretty evident this week.

Also, the FOX map isn't quite complete yet, but I'll update it as soon as the The 506 puts them up....

NBC Sunday Night Football: Seattle at Tampa Bay (Al Michaels, Cris Collinsworth)
ESPN Monday Night Football: Denver at New England (Mike Tirico, Ron Jaworski, Tony Kornheiser)

CBS 1pm:

RED: San Diego at Buffalo - Greg Gumbel, Dan Dierdorf
BLUE: Pittsburgh at Cincinnati - Kevin Harlan, Rich Gannon
GREEN: Tennessee at Kansas City - Gus Johnson, Steve Tasker
ORANGE: Baltimore at Miami - Bill Macatee, Steve Beuerlein

CBS 4pm:

RED: Indianapolis at Green Bay - Jim Nantz, Phil Simms
BLUE: NY Jets at Oakland - Dick Enberg, Randy Cross, Dan Fouts
GREEN: Cleveland at Washington - Ian Eagle, Solomon Wilcots

FOX:

RED: San Francisco at New York Giants (1pm) - Dick Stockton, Troy Aikman, Pam Oliver
BLUE: Dallas at St. Louis (1pm) - Kenny Albert, Daryl Johnston, Tony Siragusa
GREEN: New Orleans at Carolina (1pm) - Matt Vasgersian, Brian Baldinger, Brian Billick, Laura Okmin
ORANGE: Minnesota at Chicago (1pm) - Sam Rosen, Tim Ryan, Charissa Thompson

YELLOW: Detroit at Houston (4pm) - Chris Rose, J.C. Pearson, Nischelle Turner

18 Comments:

Detroit at Houston (4pm)- Chris Rose, J.C. Pearson, Nischelle Turner

A level of hell.

Wait...Seattle at Tampa is really the Sunday night game?? Holy crap...who thought that was a good idea? Even before Seattle went into the tank, I wouldn't want to watch that game.

KUTV of Salt Lake City, don't give us the Raiders for the second consecutive week. Last week, you jackasses changed from Broncos/Jaguars to Raiders/Saints on Friday. Nice call, a 34-3 beatdown instead of a better game. Don't jerk with Colts/Packers. Chargers/Bills is also a good game. Oh yes, and GO BRONCOS!!!

Fox's problem is they don't look at match ups they look at city names they Assume people Care about a game just cuz Dallas or New York is playing anyboy

wags, I'm with you. How can no one at Fox realize how truly abysmal Chris Rose is?

How and why did the entire state of Texas, most of Lousiana, and the Carolinas get subjected to Steelers/Bengals? Wouldn't they want to see Titans/Chiefs or Ravens/Dolphins more?

The Steelers are going to slaughter the Bengals.

Browns-Redskins goes to Dallas but not to Philadelphia. Jets-Raiders goes to Boston, Buffalo and Miami but not to Denver or Kansas City.

Strange choices by CBS indeed.

One of the drawbacks of living in Virginia is the presence of Redskins football. Not only are they the primary game on TV every fucking week, now they've invaded my radio and have taken over the only decent rock station in the area on Sundays. A three hour(!) pregame show and two hour post-game make it impossible to listen to that station on gameday. Who the fuck needs 9-10 hours of Redskin football? I hate Dan Snyder...

I might be crazy but could of Fox used Pitts/Boselli instead of Rose/Pearson

If FOX sends Stockton and Aikman to San Fran they'll have to broadcast the game off of a monitor somewhere considering the game's at the Meadowlands.

I don't care what FOX game I get. I'll be watching the Titans hopefully go 6-0.

Jon, Atlanta gets Pitt/Cincy too. Color me surprised. Miami and Tennessee or closer, and I'd honestly rather watch Chargers/Bills anyway.

That Nischelle Turner is pretty hot, but I agree, Chris Rose is awful.

everyone in cincy was wondering how we got Dick Enberg, Randy Cross and Dan Fouts. I told everyone it was because of the Jets and brett favre.

Kevin Harlan and Rich is a pretty good team.
