He's baaaaaack! We all knew it was too good to be true folks. Joe Buck is back with his good pal Tim McCarver and they're calling a Yankees game. Kill me now. Also, I know it's tough to work out schedules with other networks ahead of time, but could we get a little variety? Good lord...it's New York and Chicago all the time these days.

MARKETS INCLUDE: Albuquerque, Austin, Chicago, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus, Dayton, Denver, Detroit, Houston, Indianapolis, Kansas City, Knoxville, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Louisville, Memphis, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, Nashville, New Orleans, Oklahoma City, Phoenix, Sacramento, Salt Lake City, San Antonio, San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle, St. Louis, Tulsa

New York Yankees at New York Mets- Joe Buck & Tim McCarver (FOX, 3:55pm, 42%)

Even as a Yankees fan in Ohio, I'm glad that we get the Chicago's game now.

There's that tall, towering Buck head again. Could there be even MORE ego stored up there? We'll see...

Fox even states in their policy (and I believe TBS does too) that they will always show a game involving a team from the Top 3 markets (NY, CHI, LA) and if a game involves both teams from those matkets it will always be shown.

McCarver needs to have Jeff Gannon(Bushs fake reporter/homo lover-Google it if you forgot)give him a Rusty Trombone.

You don't actually believe that baseball outside New York, Chicago, Boston, and LA matters, do you? All those of us rooting for other teams don't really matter, because our teams are just entertainment for the REAL teams.

Hey, remember in Chicago there are two teams.

the Cubs always are on television and in the papers and stuff

the Sox barley ever get mentioned, unless Ozzie goes off

Good to see Grace doing the Cubs game (sorry, Sox fans--nobody loves you). The Cubs need a slumpbuster.

What is the point of complaining about showing a NY or Chi team nationally? Networks want eyeballs viewing. It's about maximizing that. Sorry, with the choices you have today on digital, satellite, cable and the Web, no one is forcing you to watch Fox's national broadcast.

Come on, guys, it has always been thus and always will be. Move on to better things to whine about.

During the Mets game McCarver noted that he would not call Jerry Manuel an interim manager. Rather, he'd give him a 1 year deal until next June. I mean, wow.

I thought it was nice of ESPN last week to show the Diamondbacks twice last week. Then I remembered the Red Sox were on. Similarly nice of ESPN to show the Rays tonight -- oh, wait, that's right, the Rays are playing the Red Sox. The YRSN lives on.
