Early SEC And ACC Games On ESPN Released

ESPN gave us the first look at their early CFB games this afternoon with its release of the early ACC and SEC schedules. Obviously there are no announcers yet, but I figured you all could start marking some dates down.

Thu., Aug. 28

7 p.m.- Vanderbilt at Miami (Ohio) (ESPNU)
8 p.m.- N.C. State at South Carolina (ESPN)

Sat., Aug. 30

3:30 p.m.- USC at Virginia (ABC)
3:45 p.m.- Delaware at Maryland (ESPNU)
5 p.m.- Appalachian State at LSU (ESPN)
6:45 p.m.- Mississippi State at Louisiana Tech (ESPN2)
8 p.m.- Alabama vs. Clemson (ABC, From Atlanta)

Sun., Aug. 31

3:30 p.m.- Kentucky at Louisville (ESPN)

Mon., Sept. 1

8 p.m.- Tennessee at UCLA (ESPN)

Thu., Sept. 4

8:30 p.m.- South Carolina at Vandy (ESPN)

Sat., Sept. 6
3:30 p.m.- Mississippi at Wake Forest (ABC)
3:45 p.m.- Richmond at Virginia (ESPNU)
8 p.m.- Miami at Florida (ESPN)

Sat., Sept. 13

Noon- California at Maryland (ESPN or ESPN2)
Noon- Navy at Duke (ESPNU)
3:30 p.m.- Arkansas at Texas (ABC)
3:30 p.m.- Georgia Tech at Virginia Tech (ABC)
3:45 p.m.- Chattanooga at Florida State (ESPNU)
7 p.m.- Auburn at Mississippi State (ESPN2)

Sat., Sept. 20

8 p.m.- Georgia at Arizona State (ABC)

Thu., Oct. 23

7:30 p.m.- Auburn at West Virginia (ESPN)

There are some great games in there and ESPN continues to show why their College Football programming is probably the best thing they do as a network each year.

Update: Sorry about the asterisks. They just meant that the game was previously announced. Not really important at all.

Looks good, it will be interesting to see the App. State/LSU game and how LSU responds to the Mountaineers following the upset of all upsets last year...

The games look good, but let's hope they bring back Ron Franklin and put him in the announcing position he deserves: Saturday night primetime doing an SEC or ACC game. He's the best around. Period.

ESPN---BRING RON FRANKLIN BACK TO SATURDAY NIGHTS ON THE MAIN NETWORK!!!!!!

Mark it down, bitches, my RedHawks are going to beat Vandy in the season opener.

And yes, you read that right, the SEC is coming to a MAC stadium.
