I agree wholeheartedly.

So much for my hope of Gus getting a game going down to the wire. This doesn't look like the 2006 George Mason team. (Via Captain Redbeard)

It's been a long day for everyone. Hopefully tomorrow is better.

If the George Mason pre-game speech is an indicator, the Patriots are going to get drilled. Quite lame.

That's probably going to be a pretty interesting game, Sam. Too bad it's Wenzel and Bolerjack.

I get Wisconsin-CS Fullerton, once that one starts. That ought to last about ten minutes before we get switched back to GMU-ND.

Of course this is off topic because all of these late tip off games (even the close ones) are boring.

What if you had to the opportunity to blow up a house with the following people?

A. Tim McCarver, Bob Wenzel, Brent Musberger

B. Steve Lavin, Joe Buck, Stephen A. Smith

C. Billy Packer, Jay Bilas, Hubie Brown

TJX said...

I thought you guys might find this funny. My 10 year old sister comes up to me after watching I Am Legend in the living room.

She looks at the screen and screams a bloodcurdling scream. I freak out, wondering what's the matter.

She points and says "That guy on the TV is so white, it reminded me of the zombies! Is he infected?"

It was Nic Wise of Arizona shooting free throws at the end of the half. She was serious.

That is my highlight of today. How sad is that?

Geez - this is getting violent. What if you had to release a flesh-eating virus on a gathering of people. Which would you choose?

A. The 2008 reunion of the 1972 Dolphins.

B. ESPN's next roast of Mike and Mike.

C. France.

Mal, did Wisconsin reject your application for enrollment back in the day?

I don't understand your hatred for the Badgers. "Oh my God, a defensive minded team that manages the clock." It's their style of play. If you don't like it, don't watch them. If it's your only option too fucking bad.

I seriously can't take anymore Boler and Wenzel. Someone please make a comeback in one of the other games. Please!

Mar 20, 2008, 11:31:00 PM

Wenzel: "The Butler is cleaning up". He says this TWICE in a row. Butler is a kid's name for Arizon.

Mal said...
Mar 20, 2008, 11:31:00 PM

Mal, I gotcha. Sometimes as a Badger fan, I get a little sensitive after listening to countless analysts say that they're not "athletic" enough to contend and people continually ragging on their style. I realize it's not the most entertaining brand, but you can't argue with 29-4. However, we've come a long way since Bennett-ball

Mar 20, 2008, 11:52:00 PM

I'd say K-State, Purdue, and Xavier's 2nd half team Mal.

Apparently not Joe. They blew them out of the water.

Mar 20, 2008, 11:54:00 PM

Hey, they were finally all healthy, and at the beginning of the year they were a Top 15 team. They are more talented than WVU, they should've won. Joe Alexander blows. The only game I was worried about was WVU, if they could just get by them I thought they could do it because Duke and Xavier blow my nutsack.

Kent State: 10 point half
Cornell: 17
Winthrop: 11 point 2nd half
Mason: 21
Miss Valley State: with a 13/16 combo

I don't think I've ever seen scores so low.
