Do Not Ask Bobby Knight About Indiana

Friday, February 29, 2008

So Greenie decided early today that he was going to ask Bobby Knight about Indiana and he delivered on that when ESPN's newest analyst was on M&M this morning. After Bobby Knight talked about defensive lineman and rebounding for 5 minutes (I seriously could not follow him on that one), Mike popped the question....

You have to credit Greenberg for asking the question, but I don't know what he expected. I say it's about a week before Knight goes off on somebody. This is going to be fun.

Regarding Knight's rambling, there was a Simpsons episode where they explained that Ned Flanders' doodily's and dokily's were really pent-up anger that he was holding in. Given Greenberg's question, that's my theory.

Expect more of these, especially if he has to deal with ESPN Radio often.

I sense Bobby's extreme dislike for Greenberg. I was at the gym trying to workout and they had that goddamn show on blaring. Greenberg is nothing more than a little douchey gossip.

He will advance any subject not on the sports side, but on the emotional, personality side.

He almost let out that he went to Northwestern. That wouldn't fit in well with the marketing of Mike Greenberg.

Can't wait for the day Bobby decies that he's fucking had ENOUGH of that horseshit!

What does Knight think people want to hear from him about?

Greenberg was right to ask him about Indiana.

Does he think people want to hear his attempt at humor with his rambling about never letting Golic shoot if he played for him?

I enjoyed how Knight kept acting like Golic played on the O-Line and no one corrected him.

Do you think Greenberg knows the difference between the two?

He knows the difference between mauve and pink, but I'm nto so sure he knows that the offense is different from the defense in the game of National Football, in the National Football League.

So, Wags, what do you think about Mike Greenberg?

Who?

Mike Greenberg?

Worthless, I'm thinking that I put it pretty clearly, guess you need a little clarification.

Maybe you're a Yankees fan or something.

I hope Knight goes on a rampage at ESPN. If he could take out Greenburg, Doug Gotlieb and Steven A. Smith, that would surpass his undefeated season as his greates accomplishment in my book!

Maybe he could take them hunting.
