Dates, Numbers, And Players Confuse Brent Musburger

Saturday, January 19, 2008

In the span of about a minute Brent Musburger got a player's name wrong, gave us about 30 seconds of dead air, and completely blew a promo for the X-Games. It was a powerful minute of broadcasting. Have a look see....

I don't know if Brent had a long night, but Ginyard plays for the Heels and talking to yourself makes you sound a little bit crazy. I'm just saying.

The important thing to remember is that UNC lost. At the end of the day, that's what matters.

I root against UNC for no particular reason other than Tyler Hansbrough being so easy to hate.

Ha....save those for the post where I show all the UNC chicks crying Chase.

I was trying to finish Brett's thought before I stated mine.

But Musberger not knowing Landon's name was just one more example of the announcers/analysts showing no respect to the Terps.

Even just now during ESPN's highlight reel Gotlieb said, "How bout a Maryland highlight, they won the game!"

Yeah, and I'm supposed to believe that USC is the best college football team in the country because this thumb-dick says they are?
