T.O. Calls Out Keyshawn, Keyshawn Responds And Is Bleeped On Sports Center

Wednesday, December 12, 2007

Wow. That quote I linked earlier didn't really scratch the surface of the T.O. comments. As Rich Eisen used to say on SportsCenter.....It's Time To Play The Feud!

I didn't know the word "piss" got bleeped out on TV, but I guess you learn something new everyday. In all honesty (and someone commented on this earlier), T.O. has been quiet all year and ESPN did the perfect job baiting him out of hiding.

(P.S.- I don't think I'd really like a skunk pissing on me Keyshawn, but to each his own.)

20 Comments:

i doubt this is the kind of response they were hoping for. statistical comparisons bitching keyshawn, and giving credit to his current coach.

at least keyshawn isnt dressed like a gay rodeo clown. oops.

So, TO's supposed to give all the credit to a coach who a) clearly didn't want him there, and b) refused to refer to him by name?

The professional broadcaster is the one taking it to the gutter, and ESPN is happy to give him that platform.

T.O. hasn't said a word about Parcells in several weeks. Why did Keyshawn "Give Me the Damn Ball" Johnson bring it up now?

Sounds like Parcells is cranky that "his" Cowboys are 12-1 without him and he sent out his messenger boy.

Not true 8:53. T.O. ragged on Parcells within the last week.

An employee of ESPN called out BO?

Isn't that kind of like CBS building a huge bar right inside Foxboro (Gillette, whatever) then Jim Nantz ass sucking Kraft and Brady? Sort of blurring the lines a bit...

Oh well...

ESPN == strength, integrity, honor
CBS == Patriots Broadcasting Network

Could anyone tell what TJ was saying in the background during the rant? He should just stay out of it because he is arguable the most respectable on that set.

Lets look at the positive...Emmitt had a chance to open his mouth but decided better...more of that would be nice.

AA - Stephen A. Smith just walked away from the desk at halftime of whatever basketball game is on ESPN (the NHZ doesn't do basketball). I have no idea what the context was...but you might want to find the video if you can. It's certainly bound to be amusing.

Oh, and I had no idea "piss" was censored either. I suppose it makes sense since "shit" would be.

I never thought I would turn into a fan of Keyshawn Johnson. He has certainly grown up since he left the NFL. Owens' response, comparing stats with Johnson, was ridiculous.

I'm glad to see that ESPN finally got something right. You see, ESPN said that T.O. couldn't go an entire season without doing something controversial. And in this era of erroneous reporting about Sean Taylor, Les Miles, Michael Vick, and everything that comes out of Chris Mortensen's mouth, they finally hit the nail on the head with this one. T.O. finally blew up.

Sure they created it, but who's counting, right? They still got it right. Good for you, ESPN.

TO started it at the beginning of the season. He was taking cheap shot at parcells. TO said I am happy now and parcells said that makes two of us.

Key just said for TO to admit Parcells had some part in the team's success. Key also said wade is doing a good job. Key never brought up that TO was not a good player. He said he should be considered for MvP.

TO took it out of hand and said he was better. Well duh.

What T.O. said and who Tony Romo is dating is now more important than any other story about any other team with the possible exception of the Patriots. Congratulations, ESPN and Jerry Jones. America is sicker of you than they are of the Yankees. The Cowboys interest and ratings go up, but the overall numbers across the rest of the league go down. I hope you're proud of yourself. You have done the impossible. You have taken my favorite sport of all time by leaps and bounds and made me sick of it. But that's okay, Jerry. What's good for the Cowboys is good for the rest of the NFL, right?

I fucking love it. Please, please let this fued continue.

"I'll explain it to him in elementary terms."

Interestingly, when Keyshawn first responded earlier, via the phone, the comment wasn't censored (nor did he botch the punchline.).

Terrel did the right thing... Why should he sit there and let a marginal football player and a very mediocre broadcaster take shots at him?
He also gave parcells the credit he deserved... That is Wade's team now. And it's quite obvious the players like playing for him, and want to win FOR HIM! I like Parcells, but it's obvious Wade has been able to get more out of the players (for whatever reason).

Way to go T.O. Keep doing your thing! And you're right.. I had even forgotten KJ was on the Super Bowl roster!! When you're right, you're right!
