Disnergy Strikes Again! (And The Rest Of The ESPN Countdown Schedule)

Friday, October 05, 2007

You've been hearing about it during the Nessler, Griese, and Maguire CFB games, but the show "Dirty Sexy Money" is rearing it's ugly head on Monday Night Football this week. There's no word on if the stars will be guests in the booth, but there's a spot regarding the show on Monday Night Countdown......

The stars of ABC's new prime-time show offer a unique perspective on the Cowboys at Bills Monday Night Football matchup. The spot includes a cameo by Cowboys owner Jerry Jones.
Oh Joy! Shoot me in the face. Here's the rest of what's happening on the Countdowns this weekend.

Sunday NFL Countdown:

- Arizona's QB Situation (Or "Shuffle" as they call it)
- Jon Gruden Mic'd yelling at his 40 Quarterbacks
- The Mayne Event does something on the anniversary of Sputnik

.......and the must see of the weekend.........

- 10-Year Old Jason Krause is giving out first quarter grades!

Monday Night Countdown:

- T.O. Mic'd
- "Dirty Sexy Money"
- Boiling Point with Parcells and Ditka
- Read and React with Parcells and Keyshawn

The Jerry Jones thing pisses me off more than "Dirty Sexy Money." I don't want to see him before the game. I don't want to see him in his box. I don't want to see him when he goes to the sidelines. I don't want to see him after the game. And I don't want to see him in any commercials.

Stop feeding his fucking ego, PLEASE.

Why would someone who's still getting check pluses and minuses hand out 1st-quarter grades?

A hundred bucks that the "Arizona QB Situation" story leads to some kind of debate in the form of "Whom would you rather have: Matt Leinart or Brady Quinn?"

There's also a good chance that we'll get a "Sports Night" reference, since the star of this show is one of the anchors from that show.

I just imdb'd the show. Donald Sutherland and Jill Clayburgh are two of the stars? Did I go into some kind of time warp and land in 1976?

How pathetic is the Four-Letter right now?

The biggest college football game is on CBS. They don't get the NFL until Monday. The MLB playoffs are on another network. Hockey season is underway (not that many people care).

So what is the front-page story on ESPN.com right now? You guessed it. A preview of Sunday's "Outside the Lines."

A 10-year-old hosting a football segment. Just...unbelievable. This network is run by a bunch of empty suit stereotypes.
