Bill Simmons' Dane Cook SNL Skit Gets Green Lit

Okay....last week when I said that Bill Simmons' skit idea for SNL was "in fact perfect for the current crappy cast of SNL"....I didn't think they'd actually prove it to me! Well they did. Via TBL comes the clip....


I guess that was kinda funny, but next time I think Jason Sudeikis should look at the cue cards more.

I'm sorry, but nothing on SNL has been remotely funny since the late '70s, and this is a prime example.

1. its a different punchline than the one simmons pitched. the nlcs one kills.

i thought sudeikis' impression was pretty dead on, though. he's about the only funny thing on that show anymore.

Ugh. That made me uncomfortable - especially when it was blatantly obvious he was reading the cue cards.
