Ken Griffey Jr Has An Eloquent Way Of Describing An Injury

Thursday, September 20, 2007

Ken Griffey Junior has been through so much and while he's still a Hall of Famer he could have gone down as the best pure hitter in baseball history if it wasn't for all the injuries. I feel for Ken and his previous injuries, but never as much as I do now.....

CHICAGO -- It's a lower abdominal strain and Griffey will return to Cincinnati instead of going to San Francisco.

"You guys know as much as I do," Griffey said.

Griffey said he didn't remember anything after the initial shock of pain. He said he knew he threw it, but not sure where.

"The best way I can describe it is it felt like somebody bungee jumped off my right nut," Griffey said.
Yeooooowwwww! F That. And while the description is hilarious........that's a terrible way to go down. Ugh.

Poor Griff. At least he's got some humor about it. Sucks really, that guy could've been the greatest player of this (any?) generation if not for all the injuries.
