Sorry, Kason

(As a Red Sox fan and baseball traditionalist, OMDQ had to write this before the guilt tore him apart)

Kason Gabbard is owed an apology.

Last inning, I accidentally thought about the fact that he had retired the first eleven batters without allowing a hit. I even considered writing a quick little note about it.

Right after I thought that, Jeff Francoeur looped a fly ball to right that fell in front of J.D. Drew for a single. This was obviously my fault - if I hadn't thought anything, he would still have his no-hitter right now.

So sorry, Kason. I didn't mean to interfere with your chances at writing your name in the record books.
