Mike And Mike Are Getting The Shaft

Wednesday, May 16, 2007

First ESPN made them announce Arena League games, and now they're going even lower down on the broadcast totem pole....

ESPN Radio's Mike Greenberg and Mike Golic, whose morning show is simulcast on ESPN2, will be analysts on ABC/ESPN's coverage of the Scripps National Spelling Bee Finals on May 31.
There's not a chance that they are requesting these assignments, is there? Let's just pray that something like this happens again to liven up the event...

Firstly, ESPN shouldn't need announcers for a freaking spelling bee.

Secondly, ESPN shouldn't even be broadcasting the spelling bee.

Thirdly, I'm nowhere near the competitors in this competition, and will never be because I'm officially ineligible to participate.

Man, I can spell beter than those spelers!

Also, I still think that kid fell on purpose.

I'm going to assume that you spelled beter and spelers incorrectly on purpose.
