Reasons Why Not To Have a Celebrity Game

Saturday, February 17, 2007

Don't know if any of you took the time to watch the McDonald's Celebrity Game last night. If you did I hope you've washed your eyes out with lava this morning. If you didn't.....good for you.

Reason #1- You get quotes like this at the end of the 1st Quarter....
"8-3....that could be an insurmountable lead"- Tom Tolbert

Reason #2- Carrot Top....no explanation needed.

Reason #3- Tony Potts was your MVP with 14 points (Who the hell is Tony Potts?)

Reason #4- Spending half the program pimping ABC shows. I seriously want to murder James Denton at this point.

Reason #5- Stu Scott mentioning Bow Wow's name every chance he gets.

Reason #6- About 200 people attend. (The top of the stands were completely empty)

Reason #7- Reggie Bush getting injured for no reason. (Sorry for the video quality, but I have yet to figure out the brightness thing. I move the little slidey bar, but nothing happens)

You can actually hear him say "OH FUCK!" if you turn the volume up. And what the hell is a mascot doing in the game? The Saints have to be kicking themselves after the ProBowl and this. That game was a train-wreck. I'll see you later for some real basketball.

THE AMAZING RACE ODDS:

Bavetta -320
Barkley +210

Ask Bill Simmons who Tony Potts is.

The lightning on TV was horrible for that... like a pro wrestling dark match where they don't light up the crowd.

Carrot Top was his usual confusing, hideous self, but the highlight for me was watching Michael Clarke Duncan attempt to shoot free throws.

That was one of the worst bastketball games I have ever seen. It was worse than watching 3 year olds play.
